License Grant

HGB Solutions Oy ("Company," "we," "us") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Palautus AI mobile application ("App") on your personal mobile device, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

What You Can Do

• Install and use the App on your personal mobile devices
• Use the App's features for personal tax optimization purposes
• Access our AI-powered receipt processing and tax deduction services
• Generate tax reports for your personal or business use

What You Cannot Do

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any part of it
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without authorization
• Share your account credentials with others

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Palautus AI responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Premium Subscription (€5.99/month)

• Unlimited receipt scanning and processing
• AI-powered tax optimization recommendations
• Multi-jurisdiction support across Europe
• Advanced tax-ready reports and exports
• Priority customer support

Payment and Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly via your device's app store
• Automatic renewal unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal
• No refunds for partial months of service
• Prices may change with 30 days advance notice

Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in Palautus AI, including our proprietary AI models, algorithms, software, and content, remain the exclusive property of HGB Solutions Oy.

Our Property

• The Palautus AI application and all its features
• Our proprietary AI models and tax optimization algorithms
• All content, graphics, user interface, and design elements
• Trademarks, service marks, and trade names

Your Content

• You retain ownership of your receipt data and personal information
• You grant us license to process your data to provide our services
• We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI models
• You can delete your content and data at any time

Service Availability

Service Provision

We strive to provide reliable, continuous service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance and updates
• Technical difficulties or server issues
• Third-party service dependencies
• Force majeure events beyond our control

Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, update, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Update our AI models and tax optimization algorithms
• Change pricing with 30 days advance notice
• Add new features and expand to additional jurisdictions

Service Limitations

• Receipt Processing: OCR technology may not perfectly read all receipt formats or languages
• Data Connectivity: Some features require internet connectivity for cloud processing

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for tax penalties, missed deductions, or audit issues
• Users are responsible for verifying all tax information and compliance

Termination

Termination by You

• Cancel your subscription anytime through your device's app store settings
• Delete your account and data through the app's settings
• Uninstall the app from your device

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate any terms of this Agreement
• Use the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to compromise our systems or other users' accounts
• Fail to pay subscription fees

Effect of Termination

• Your right to use the App immediately ends
• You may lose access to your data and reports
• We will handle your data according to our Privacy Policy
• Certain provisions of this Agreement will survive termination

Updates and Changes

App Updates

We regularly update Palautus AI to:

• Improve AI accuracy and add new features
• Support additional European tax jurisdictions
• Fix bugs and enhance security
• Comply with changing tax regulations

Agreement Changes

We may modify this Agreement to reflect:

• Changes in applicable laws or regulations
• New features or service modifications
• Enhanced security or privacy protections

Significant changes will be communicated through the app and email notification 30 days in advance.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Finland and the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Helsinki, Finland.

European Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have additional rights under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by this Agreement.

Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Third-Party Services

Palautus AI may integrate with third-party services to enhance functionality:

• App Store Services: Payment processing and app distribution
• Cloud Infrastructure: Secure data storage and processing in Finland
• Authentication Services: Secure login and account management
• Tax Authority APIs: Direct integration with European tax systems (future feature)

Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or policies.
